Responsibilities The successful STNA must:• Assist Residents with activities of daily living.• Create a safe, loving and homelike environment for the Residents.• Contribute and participate in the execution of the Plan of Care.• Coordinate clinical care with the interdisciplinary team.• Document relevant clinical information to provide ongoing quality care.• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing.
Qualifications – ASK ABOUT OUR TRAINING PROGRAM! The successful STNA must:• Possess a service-oriented personality and align with The Hills’ mission of serving those entrusted to our care.• Possess STNA certification in good standing with the State of Ohio, OR • Receive certification within 4 months of employment following successful completion of one semester of school of nursing clinical rotation, OR • Successful completion of STNA training program ~ New training classes starting soon! • Possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.• Preferably possess a high school diploma or GED.
Skills The successful STNA must:• Possess basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn pertinent applications.• Demonstrate good interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.• Preferably possess current CPR certification.
